How we work
Hanlian is a steel supplier established in 2019, exporting angle steel, Z-section, channel, I-beam, square tube and hot-rolled coil. We are not Salzgitter or Baowu — so we put our effort into one thing: every shipment's quality and paperwork has to line up.
Below is what we can and cannot provide. Everything listed is verifiable; anything we cannot back, we do not put on the website.
Documents supplied with every shipment
📄Mill test certificate (MTC)Chemical and mechanical properties per heat number — not a generic template
🧾Invoice & packing listSpecification, heat number, pieces, net and gross weight, line by line
🚢Bill of ladingOriginal or telex release, as your customs requires
🌐Certificate of originOrdinary CO; FORM A and others on request
Standards and grades
We work to GB/T, ASTM and EN. Grades are confirmed per order — we do not guess on your behalf.
- Angle / channel / I-beam: GB/T 706, GB/T 700 (Q235B / Q345B), ASTM A36, SS400
- Square tube: GB/T 6728, ERW process
- Hot-rolled coil: GB/T 3274, Q235B / Q345B / SS400 / SPHC
- Non-standard sizes and special grades: drawing or technical agreement first, then rolling
Inspection and third parties
Every bundle is checked against the order before loading. When you want a third party, you nominate the body — we support sampling and site access.
- In-house: dimensions, wall thickness, zinc coating, surface, marking
- Third party: SGS / BV / Intertek (at your cost, report issued to you)
- Common African requirements: SONCAP (Nigeria), PVoC (Kenya and others) — we support your agent; the certificate is issued by them
How quality claims are handled
Photos of the actual goods and the packing list go to you before the container closes. If something arrives outside spec, we settle it on the next shipment against your photos and third-party report. No stalling, no arguing from 10,000 km away.
What we do not do
- No pretending to be a big mill: angle steel comes off our own line, the other families come from partner mills — the website and the quotation say so
- No invented certificates: if there is no ISO or SONCAP number, no logo goes on the page
- No rebranding of substandard material
